Captain America 4 Gets A New Title

When Captain America 4 was announced, it was announced with the title of Captain America: New World Order.  The WCW theme song constantly plays in your mind when you think NWO.  Today Marvel announced that the new film will be in theaters on May 3, 2024 but….. It is now called Captain America: Brave New World.

Steve Rogers is gone, either on the moon or an old man, and Sam Wilson is in as Cap along with Harrison Ford taking over the role of Thaddeus Ross after the passing of actor William Hurt.  Marvel tweeted out a behind the scenes image of Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford on set along with the new title:

Anthony Mackie also posted the image to his Instagram account with the caption “When Harrison Ford tells you how kicking ass should look, you listen! LoL… Thanks for the on set wisdom and laughs my friend!  Can’t wait to do it again… Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World in theaters May 2, 2023”.  From the look of all things, I am assuming this has been the title for a bit and Marvel just gave us the update.  Based on the Mackie comment, it seems filming with Ford is completed.  Does this mean we could be getting a teaser at San Diego Comic Con or something?
