What’s up Guardians? Here we are on Tuesday with your Destiny 2 weekly reset for October 10 2023 and we are in week 8 of Season of the Witch! Let’s dive right into it!
The Weekly Nightfall this week is Heist Battleground: Moon the weapon is the BrayTech Osprey
The Hero modifiers are:
- You will face combatants with Solar, Arc and Void shields
- Barrier and Unstoppable Champions
- Hero Modifiers – Extra Shields, Maximum Level of 1765
- Void Threat – 25% increase to incoming Void damage
- Empath – Enhanced Radar. Take increased damage from melee
- Overcharged Weapons – Weapon overcharges from the Seasonal Artifact are active in this activity. Kinetic weapons do increased damage when your subclass matches an active surge
- Strand Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Strand damage
- Solar Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Solar damage
- Overcharged Sniper Rifles – 25% increase to Sniper Rifle damage
- Galvanized – Combatants have more health and are more difficult to stun
The Legend modifiers are all of the above plus:
- Legend Modifiers – Locked Loadout. Extra Shields, Maximum effective level of 1815
- Equipment locked
The Master modifiers are all of the above plus:
- Master Modifiers – Extra champions, Locked Loadout, Extra Shields, Maximum effective level of 1820
- Attrition – Regeneration is greatly impaired. Defeating enemies may create wells of Light
The Grandmaster modifiers are all of the above plus:
- Extinguish – If your fireteam falls in a Restricted Zone. Everyone is returned to orbit.
- Limited Revives – Limited fireteam revives. Gain additional revives by killing Champions
- Fire Pit – When defeated, Acolytes spawn fire pools that cause damage over time
- Chaff – Radar is disabled
The Pinnacle Reward is obtained once you reach 200,000 as a score (cumulative over your runs of the Nightfall).

Activities for the Destiny 2 Weekly Reset for October 3 2023
Iron Banner is back this week. Crucible this week is Mayhem, Rumble and Supremacy. Competitive Crucible this week is Rift, Showdown and Survival and the weapon is Mercurial Overreach. Crucible Labs is Checkmate Survival. Note Crucible rep is increased this week. Gambit has also refreshed for the week and has additional Gambit Rank. Strikes are reset as well and the surge is Arc and Stasis.
The Vex Incursion Zone this week is Ahimsa Park
The featured Raid this week is Last Wish the weapon is One Thousand Voices. The challenge is Summoning Ritual – Cleanse all nine plates, kill all nine Knights and kill all Ogres before damaging Kalli.
The featured Dungeon this week is Spire of the Watcher which will grant Pinnacle gear and the weapon is the Hierarchy of needs combat bow. The Ghosts of the Deep dungeon will also grant Pinnacle gear and the weapon is The Navigator Trace Rifle.
The featured Exotic Mission this week is Vox Obscura with the weapon being Dead Messenger.
The Ascendant Challenge is Shattered Ruins – Climb the ruins and eliminate the Taken Phalanx

- Dares of Eternity completed with a score of 250,000.
- Round 1 Fallen
- Round 2Hive
- Round 3 Zydron
- //node.ovrd.AVALAON// activity will grant a Pinnacle as well
- The Weekly campaign mission is Breakneck with a score of 100,000
Seasonal Challenges
- Filamentary Magic – Defeat targets (100) with Strand, Arc or Solar supers. Earn bonus progress for defeating Guardians. Reward – Challenger XP+
- Ponderous Orbs – Generate Orbs of Power (100) and find any hidden chest within Savathun’s Spire. Reward – Challenger XP
- Precision Paraphysics – Defeat targets (200) with Bows or Hand Cannons. Earn bonus progress by defeating Guardians or by defeating combatants in Season of the Witch activities. Reward – Challenger XP+
- Punch Drunk – Get powered melle final blows (100) in ritual playlists. Reward – Challenger XP++ and Bright Dust
- Flourish of Power – Defeat Guardians (25) in the Mayhem playlist with Super Abilities. Reward – Challenger XP+ and Bright Dust
- Boss Battle – Defeat bosses (20) in strikes or Vanguard playlists. Reward – Challenger XP+++ and Bright Dust
- Kinetic Forces – Get final blows (150) with Kinetic weapons. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians. Reward – Challenger XP++ and Bright Dust
