What’s up Guardians? Here we are on Tuesday for another Destiny 2 weekly reset on April 4, 2023 during Season of Defiance. With that reset as always comes new missions, challenges, dungeons for the week and more. Let’s dive right into it.
The Weekly Nightfall this week is Lake of Shadows. The Hero modifiers are:
- Champions: Barrier and Unstoppable
- Hero Modifier: Extra Shields and maximum effective level of 1765
- Arc Threat: 25% increase to incoming Arc damage
- Empath: Enhanced radar and take increased damage from melee attacks
- Overcharged weapons
- Surge: Strand and Void
- Overcharged Machine Gun: 25% bonus damage for all Machine Guns
- Galvanized: Combatants have more health and are more difficult to stun
Legend adds:
- Equipment Locked
- Solar, Arc and Void Shields
- Legend Modifiers
- Locked Loadout
- Extra Shields
- Maximum Effective Level 1815
- Equipment Locked
Master adds:
- Chaff – Radar disabled
- Master Modifiers
- Extra Champions
- Locked Loadout
- Extra Shields
- Maximum Effective level of 1820
Grand Master adds:
- Extinguish
- Limited Revives
- Scorched Earth: Enemy throws significantly more grenades
- Grand Master Modifiers
- Contest
- Join in progress disabled

- Maximum Effective Level 1815
The Pinnacle Reward is obtained once you reach 200,000 as a score (cumulative over your runs of the Nightfall).
Crucible for the week is Iron Banner Eruption.
Gambit this week will require three matches for your Pinnacle drop.
Strikes are reset as well, complete five matches for your Pinnacle drop.
The Dungeons this week are Prophecy (featured) and the Spire of the Watcher. Both give out Pinnacle drops.
The featured Raid this week is King’s Fall
Weekly Update of Seasonal Challenges
- Forceful Liberator: Defeat combatants (75) in the Defiant Battlegrounds playlist using power weapons. Earn bonus progress if they also deal Solar damage.
- Relentless Liberator: Gain bonus rewards using a Defiant key (3) at the end of Defiant Battlegrounds playlist activities on both normal and legend difficulties
- Vexing Liberator: Defeat Vex (150) with seasonal weapons. These are Perpetualils, Prodigal Return, Regnant, Caretaker, Raconteur and Royal Executioner
- Defiant Crucible Ornament: Acquire the Crucible ornament for Ecliptic Distaff
- Elegant Weaponry: Defeat combatants (100) in Vanguard playlists or strikes while using a Sword, Bow or Glaive
- Absolutely Stunning: Stun 50 champions
Other Pinnacle Drops:
- Three Defiant Battlegrounds completed
- Dares of Eternity completed with a score of 250,000.
- //node.ovrd.AVALAON// activity will grant a Pinnacle as well
- Weekly campaign mission with a score of 100,000
