What’s up Guardians? Here we are on Tuesday for another Destiny 2 weekly reset on May 2, 2023 during Season of Defiance. With that reset as always comes new missions, challenges, dungeons for the week and more. This week also brings with it the Guardian Games, you can check out our post about that right here. Let’s dive right into it.
The Weekly Nightfall this week is The Arms Dealer. The Hero modifiers are:
- You will face combatants with Solar, Arc and Void shields
- Barrier and Unstoppable Champions
- Extra Shields
- Maximum Level of 1765
- Solar Threat – 25% increase to incoming Solar damage
- Scorched Earth – enemies throw grenades more often
- Overcharged Weapons – Kinetic weapons do increased damage when your subclass matches an active surge
- Void Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Void damage
- Strand Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Strand damage
- Overcharged Rocket Launcher – 25% increase to Rocket Launcher damage
- Galvanized – Combatants have more health and are more difficult to stun
The Legend modifiers are:
- Locked Loadout
- Extra Shields
- Maximum effective level of 1815
- Equipment locked
The Master modifiers are all of the above plus:
- Extra champions
- Maximum effective level of 1820
- Chaff – Radar is disabled
The Grandmaster modifiers are all of the above plus:
- Extinguish – If your fireteam falls in a restricted zone, everyone is returned to orbit
- Limited Revives
- Contest
- Join in progress disabled
- Maximum effective level of 1815
The Pinnacle Reward is obtained once you reach 200,000 as a score (cumulative over your runs of the Nightfall).
Crucible and Gambit will provide Pinnacle Rewards for completing 3 matches of each.
Strikes are reset as well, completing five matches will get you your Pinnacle Reward.
The featured Dungeons this week is Pit of Heresy as well as the Spire of the Watcher both will have Pinnacle Rewards
The featured Raid this week is Vault of Glass
Other Pinnacle Drops:
- Three Defiant Battlegrounds completed
- Dares of Eternity completed with a score of 250,000.
- //node.ovrd.AVALAON// activity will grant a Pinnacle as well
- Weekly campaign mission with a score of 100,000
Weekly Update of Seasonal Challenges
- Ultimate Defiance – Defeat combatants (50) with Supers in the Defiant Battlegrounds playlist, bonus awarded if you also have the Strand subclass equipped.
- Favored Liberator – Generate Favors (60) in Seasonal activities. All members of your current fireteam contribute to overall progress.
- Europa Activities – On Europa, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events and Lost Sectors.
- Defiant Vanguard Ornament – Acquire the Vanguard ornament for Ecliptic Distaff.
