What’s up Guardians? Here we are on Tuesday for another Destiny 2 weekly reset on May 30, 2023. This is our first reset in the new Season of the Deep. With that reset as always comes new missions, challenges, dungeons for the week and more. Let’s dive right into it.
The Weekly Nightfall this week is The Corrupted. The Hero modifiers are:
- You will face combatants with Solar, Arc and Void shields
- Overload and Unstoppable Champions
- Extra Shields
- Maximum Level of 1765
- Arc Threat – 25% increase to incoming Arc damage
- Denial – Taken Vandals summon their shields significantly more often
- Overcharged Weapons – Kinetic weapons do increased damage when your subclass matches an active surge
- Void Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Void damage
- Arc Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Arc damage
- Overcharged Rocket Launcher – 25% increase to Rocket Launcher damage
- Galvanized – Combatants have more health and are more difficult to stun
The Legend modifiers are:
- You will face Solar, Arc and Void shielded combatants
- Locked Loadout
- Extra Shields
- Maximum effective level of 1815
- Equipment locked
The Master modifiers are all of the above plus:
- Extra champions
- Maximum effective level of 1820
- Chaff – Radar is disabled
The Grandmaster modifiers are all of the above plus:
- Extinguish – If your fireteam falls in a restricted zone, everyone is returned to orbit
- Limited Revives
- Contest
- Join in progress disabled
- Maximum effective level of 1815
- Epitaph – Taken combatants generate blight geysers when defeated
The Pinnacle Reward is obtained once you reach 200,000 as a score (cumulative over your runs of the Nightfall).
Crucible this week is Mayhem, Zone Control and Rumble. Gambit has also refreshed for the week. Three of each will give you powerful gear. Strikes are reset as well, complete five matches for your powerul drop.
The Iron Banner is there this week and it is Capture Zones. Unlike regular Crucible, the Banner still will give out Pinnacle Gear.
The featured Raid this week is Garden of Salvation
The featured Dungeon this week is Spire of the Watcher which will grant Pinnacle gear. The new dungeon Ghosts of the Deep will also grant Pinnacle gear.
Other Pinnacle Drops:
- Dares of Eternity completed with a score of 250,000.
- //node.ovrd.AVALAON// activity will grant a Pinnacle as well
- Weekly campaign mission with a score of 100,000
Seasonal Challenges
- Into the Depths II – Complete the Week 2 “Into the Depths” mission
- Front Line Salvager II – Open chests in Salvage (3). Redeeming Salvage Keys grants additional progress. Additionally, defeat taken anywhere in the system (50)
- Powerful Salvager – Defeat powerful combatants in Salvage activities (50)
- Antithetical Armaments – Defeat targets with Shotguns or Sniper Rifles (150). Defeated Guardians or defeated combatants in Salvage or Deep Dive activities grant additional progress
- Throne World Activities – In the Throne World, complete bounties and earn progress by completing patrols, public events and looting lost sectors (18)
- Lost in the Legend – Complete a Lost Sector on Legend or higher
- Flourish of Power – Defeat Guardians in the Mayhem playlist with Super abilities (25)
- Primeval Entourage – Defeat taken in Gambit (100). Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants
- Taken Decimator – Defeat taken combatants (200) in Vanguard playlists or strikes. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants
- Calibrate Long Range – Calibrate long-range weapons – Pulse Rifles, Bows and Trace Rifles (100). Bonus progress granted for defeating Guardians
