Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 has begun today. Following what I felt was a subpar season with Aquaman, we are brought back to the Marvel Universe with the Nexus War. You can check out the trailer for the new season here
With the Nexus War, get ready for a Marvel filled ride in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. This season seems to be where our Marvel characters will team up to fight off the impending invasion by big baddie Galactus. We got an in game comic book series explaining the upcoming seasons story line. Basically the comic noted that the power of the island attracted Thor and Galactus. Thor summons other heroes to help him fend off Galactus.
Like every season before, to get the special skins and items you will need to purchase the Battle Pass. This will give you access to Thor, Storm, Mystique, Doctor Doom, Groot, She-Hulk and Iron Man. There is also a series of quests similar to the Deadpool quests to get the Wolverine skin.
This season seems to be all in on Marvel with locations such as Doom’s Domain, the Sentinel Graveyard and more to be coming through the season. We will also have some other weapons introduced and re-introduced into the season. The Stark Industries energy rifle will be one that is available and I know from playing a bit today, the boogie bomb is back (and I used it for a kill, sorry to whoever I hit with it).
