It is reset day for Destiny 2 and we are now in week 2 of the Season of the Seraph. With the reset comes Destiny’s annual event The Dawning for year 2022. The event is a free in-game event to bring cheer and good tidings to all Guardians.
Eva Levante is back in the Tower to help Guardians bake cookies. The event will run from today through January 2nd, so get cracking on baking and delivering those tasty treats.
This year, there is something new to the Dawning. That is the Dawning Event Card. Guardians will be able to complete challenges to unlock rewards such as an emblem, a shader and an Exotic Ghost. With the use of Silver (real money), Guardians can upgrade the card to unlock another Exotic Ghost, an Exotic Sparrow, a new emote and more. Does anyone else miss the Sparrow horns? Guardians that complete all of the Event Card challenges will receive the Seal and Title “Star Baker”.
Players will have the ability to throw Stasis-infused snowballs and will have a chance to earn the new Legendary Pulse Rifle, Stay Frosty PR7 to help in their ingredient search throughout the Destiny galaxy. Additional items will be themed cosmetics, such as new armor ornament sets for each class. These will be available through the Eververse store during the event.
