Last night we got the final AEW Dynamite (the go home show) before this Sundays All In event at Wembley Stadium in London. Leading up to last nights show, we have been told that Jungle Boy Jack Perry would put the FTW Title into retirement. The segment miraculously disappeared from the show. Apparently, the segment was moved to the Collision taping that took place last night after Dynamite went off the air and will air this Saturday (August 26th). Spoilers ahead regarding the segment….
During AEW Collision, Perry took to the ring to officially retire the FTW Championship even though the title technically is not officially recognized by AEW (but on their roster page it does note him as the FTW Champion). HOOK took to the ring interrupting and suplexed Jack through a table. The title has not been retired.
Today, Tony Khan appeared on the AEW Unrestricted podcast which can be found here to give a preview for All In London. During the podcast, Tony essentially spoiled Collision by stating that Perry will be defending the title this Sunday against HOOK.
