AMC Halloween Movie Marathon

AMC FearFest 2023 is well underway for about a month already.  For all of my Halloween franchise fans out there, FearFest kicks into overdrive this weekend.  AMC FearFest 2023 will have a Halloween Movie Marathon beginning this Saturday at 1 PM ET.  The Halloween movies will not air in chronological or timeline order but they will air a plenty.

The Halloween movies included in the schedule are: Halloween (1978), Halloween II (1981), Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982), Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988), Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989), Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998), Halloween: Resurrection (2002), Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009).

As previously covered on our site, there are five distinct Halloween timelines throughout the franchise.  Timeline one covers the original Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween 4, Halloween 5 and Halloween 6.  Timeline two covers the standalone film in the franchise Halloween III.  Timeline three would be Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween H20 and Halloween: Resurrection.  Timeline four covers the Rob Zombie entries into the series, with his Halloween and Halloween II.  Finally, timeline five covers Halloween, Halloween 2019, Halloween Kills (2021) and Halloween Ends (2022).  The marathon technically covers all of the timelines since the original masterpiece is in three of the five timelines.  The movies not included are Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995) and the new films Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills (2021) and Halloween Ends (2022).

Saturday, September 30th

• 1:00pm – Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
• 3:00pm – Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
• 5:00pm – Halloween III: Season of the Witch
• 7:00pm – Halloween II (1981)
• 9:00pm – Halloween (1978)
• 11:00pm – Halloween (2007)

Sunday, October 1st

• 1:30am – Halloween II (2009)
• 4:00am – Halloween (1978)
• 6:00am – Halloween III: Season of the Witch
• 8:00am – Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
• 10:00am – Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
• 12:00pm – Halloween (2007)
• 2:30pm – Halloween II (2009)
• 5:00pm – Halloween: Resurrection
• 7:00pm – Halloween H20: 20 Years Later
