Destiny 2 – Season of the Witch Weekly Reset Week 3 September 5

What’s up Guardians?  Here we are on Tuesday September 5th and we are in week 3 of Season of the Witch!  This is your weekly guide for the Destiny 2 weekly reset for September 5 2023.  Let’s dive right into it!

The Weekly Nightfall this week is The Scarlett Keep the weapon is TBD

The Hero modifiers are:

• You will face combatants with Arc and Solar shields
• Barrier and Unstoppable Champions
• Hero Modifiers – Extra Shields, Maximum Level of 1765
• Arc Threat – 25% increase to incoming Arc damage
• Empath – Enhanced radar.  Take increased damage from melee
• Overcharged Weapons – Weapon overcharges from the Seasonal Artifact are active in this activity.  Kinetic weapons do increased damage when your subclass matches an active surge
• Strand Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Strand damage
• Void Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Void damage
• Overcharged Sniper Rifles – 25% increase to Sniper Rifle damage
• Galvanized – Combatants have more health and are more difficult to stun

The Legend modifiers are all of the above plus:

• Legend Modifiers – Locked Loadout. Extra Shields, Maximum effective level of 1815
• Equipment locked

The Master modifiers are all of the above plus:

• Master Modifiers – Extra champions, Locked Loadout, Extra Shields, Maximum effective level of 1820
• Togetherness – Base health regen is reduced.  If near another player, health regen is increased

The Pinnacle Reward is obtained once you reach 200,000 as a score (cumulative over your runs of the Nightfall).

Iron Banner is back this week.  The game mode is Fortress.  Crucible this week is Team Scorches , Rumble and Clash.  Competitive Crucible this week is Rift, Showdown and Survival and the weapon is Mercurial Overreach.  Crucible Labs is Relics.  Gambit has also refreshed for the week, there is increased Gambit rank.  Three of each will give you powerful gear.  Strikes are reset as well and the surge is Solar and Stasis.

The Vex Incursion Zone this week is Liming Harbor

The featured Raid this week is Deep Stone Crypt the weapon is Eyes of Tomorrow.  The challenge is Red Rover – Bypass Crypt Security while passing the Operator Augment to each fireteam member.  Each Operator should activate two panels each over three damage phases.

The featured Dungeon this week is Pit of Heresy which will grant Pinnacle gear.  The Ghosts of the Deep dungeon will also grant Pinnacle gear.

The featured Exotic Mission this week is Operation: Seraph’s Shield with the weapon being Revision Zero Pulse Rifle.

The Ascendant Challenge is Keep of Honed Edges – Eliminate the Hive Wizards, raise a sword and defeat the Hive Knights.

Other Pinnacle Drops:

• Dares of Eternity completed with a score of 250,000.
  • Round 1 Hive
  • Round 2 Vex
  • Round 3 Valus Ta’aurc
• //node.ovrd.AVALAON// activity will grant a Pinnacle as well
• The Weekly campaign mission is Breakneck with a score of 100,000

Seasonal Challenges

• Acolyte’s Ascent III – Complete Week 3 of “The Bladed Path” quest. Reward: Challenger XP
• Athamethodology – Complete Savathûn’s Spire or Altars of Summoning encounters with Season of the Witch weapons equipped (18).  These include Locus Locutus, Eleatic Principle, Semiotician, Kept Confidence, The Eremite and Brya’s Love.  Earn bonus progress for each additional Seasonal weapon equipped.  Reward: Challenger XP+++
• Kinesic Spellcraft – Defeat challenging combatants (50) and earn melee or ability final blows (100) in Savathûn’s Spire. Reward: Challenger XP
• Doom and Boom – Defeat targets (200) with Fusion Rifles or Grenade Launchers.  Earn bonus progress by defeating Guardians or by defeating combatants in Season of the Witch activities. Reward: Challenger XP+
• Commendation Appreciation – Earn progress for giving commendations (10) in Vanguard, Crucible and Gambit activities.  Reward: Bright Dust
• Neptune Activities – In Neomuna, complete bounties, patrols, public events and Lost Sectors (30)  Reward: Bright Dust
• Ritual Violence – Rapidly defeat targets in Season of the Witch activities (25)  Reward: Bright Dust
• Iron Sharpens Iron – Complete Iron Banner matches (15).  Earn progress for wins.  Reward: Bright Dust
• Ultimate Champion – Defeat Champions in any Nightfall strike on Hero difficulty or higher (60).  Earn bonus progress at higher difficulty tiers.  Reward: Bright Dust
