Halloween Ends Final Trailer Released

Halloween Ends is coming to theaters and streaming on Peacock in just over 2 weeks (October 14th) and the final trailer has been released today.  This film is intended to mark the end of one of the longest running movie rivalries between “final girl” Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney).  Their rivalry has spanned 7 total movies but 4 in this canonical version, Halloween 1978, Halloween 2018, Halloween Kills 2021 and now Halloween Ends 2022.

After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, in a final confrontation unlike any captured on-screen before. Only one of them will survive.

Halloween Ends takes place four years after the events of Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir.  Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since.  Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life.  But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

This trailer really gives us a good look at where Michael has been hiding out for the last four years before who appears to be Corey Cunningham goes looking for him.  I especially loved the part where Michael stabbed the woman and stuck her to the wall and gives the same look when he did this to Bob in the original film.
