Halloween Ends Trailer Released

Today we were greeted with the long awaited Halloween Ends Trailer.  The trailer was released by Blumhouse and gives us a sneak peak of the end of the amended franchise which David Gordon Green and Danny McBride have taken over.  The trailer for the most part is full of quick snippets from the original movie as well as the two prequels to Halloween Ends.  It looks like we are going to get a good final battle between Michael and Laurie.

The synopsis of the film is as follows:

Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

Halloween Ends will star Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role as Laurie Strode for one last time on her seventh go round.  She was in Halloween 1978, Halloween 2018, Halloween Kills 2021 and Halloween Ends 2022 in this continuity along with Halloween 2 1981, Halloween H2O 1998 and Halloween Resurrection 2002. Andi Matichak will reprise her role as Allyson Nelson in her third stint as Lauries granddaughter.  James Jude Courtney will return as Michael Myers and I must say, i really do like his portrayal of the voiceless/stoic killing machine that is “The Shape”.  Will Patton as Deputy Frank Hawkins and Kyle Richards is back as Lindsey Wallace though she was not seen in the trailer and newcomer Rohan Campbell as Corey Cunningham.

Halloween Ends releases on October 14th this year.  Are you looking forward to seeing the film?  Let us know below.  Don’t forget to keep an eye on Culture Splat for more articles like this.
