Tomorrow Night, Impact Wrestling presents Slammiversary 2020! The event is a PPV event and will be broadcast on Fite TV for $39.99. The event boasts 7 matches and could Impact could have a few tricks up their sleeves! Impact recently had a falling out and let go of Tessa Blanchard which leads to the Impact World Title currently being vacant. The company also parted ways with Michael Elgin due to allegations in the speaking out movement.
What was once a five way with Elgin and Blanchard in the match, we will be getting a Fatal Four Way Elimination for the Impact World Championship. A new champion will be crowned and three participants have currently been named for the match, Ace Austin, Eddie Edwards and Trey. The fourth is a mystery, will it be one of the recently released WWE stars? Some of the names tossed around are former Impact Champion EC3 and Eric Young. Who do you think will be the fourth person?
Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace defends the Impact Knockouts Championship against the Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo. Purrazzo is fresh off her WWE release and is looking to make a splash and show why she is the Virtuosa! Will Deonna Purrazzo be victorious or will thick mama pump hold on to the title?
We will also be getting a match for the X Division Championship between Champion Willie Mack and Chris Bey. I really enjoy Willie Mack, especially when he is working House of Hardcore (check it out if you can). I would love to see Mack retain the title here, but I think Bey may pull this one out. Especially after pinning Mack not that long ago to earn his title shot.
We will also get a Knockouts Gauntlet Match for the number 1 contender position. The match will feature Taya Valkyrie, Kiera Hogan, Susie, Rosemary, Nevaeh, Tasha Steelz, Kylie Rae, Alisha, Havok, Kimber Lee and Madison Rayne battling it out for that #1 contender position, primed to take on the winner of Purrazzo and Grace. Who do you think will take this one?
Tag Team Champions The North will put their Impact Tag Team Titles on the line against Ken Shamrock and Sami Callihan. I can’t believe Shamrock is still wrestling and looks amazing! I think the unlikely pairing of Shamrock and Callihan will lead them to a W and the titles!
Moose, the self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion, will put his title on the line against the innovator of violence Tommy Dreamer in an Old School Rules match. In this Old School Rules match, one this can be certain, there will be blood! I think Moose will win and retain his self appointed title but it will be a hell of a match!
An Open Challenge match was also added to the card with the Rascalz putting out the challenge. Who will they be facing? Could it be a couple of Good Brothers? Only time and $39.99 will tell!
