Lego X-Wing Starfighter For Star Wars Day

Star Wars Day is just a few days away and Lego has a new version of the iconic X-Wing Starfighter for its Ultimate Collector Series.  The kit will be on sale starting May 4th (May the 4th be with you).

Lego X-Wing Box

The kit is recommended for ages 18 and up, has 1949 pieces and has two minifigures with it.  The dimensions of the X-Wing are 11″ (27cm) tall, 18″ (44cm) wide and 22″ (55cm) deep, making it the largest Lego X-Wing yet.  It will be a decent size once built.  The latest iteration of the X-wing will retail at $239.99 and is available now for VIPs or starting at 12:00am ET on May 4th.  You can check it out by clicking on the image below:

This newest Ultimate Collector Series version of the T-65 has updated wing and engine design along with a new cockpit interior.  Place the R2-D2™ droid figure in the socket behind the cockpit and blast off to fight for the Rebel Alliance.  You can turn the dial on top of the X-Wing to adjust the wings to flight or attack mode.  The Luke Skywalker minifigure comes with a Lightsaber and new arm printing and leg elements on his Rebel pilot uniform.  Once you have completed your build of the most intricate Lego X-Wing yet, you can display it with a decorated plaque showing the X-Wing technical details.

I for one am pretty interested in putting this kit together.  So far, I have built the Batmobile 89, Voltron set and Optimus Prime.  I am looking forward to adding an X-Wing to the collection.  What do you think of the newest Lego X-Wing coming this week?  Will you be grabbing one and putting it together?  Let us know down in the comments or hit us up on our Twitter account by clicking here.  For more Star Wars content, check out our latest Fortnite article here.  As always stay tuned to Culture Splat for more content and some exciting new additions soon.
