We had heard rumors that a Sony PlayStation Showcase was on the horizon, you can check out our coverage here. It was just a matter of when would Sony announce the date and time for the Showcase. Well that question has finally been answered. Sony just unveiled that the Showcase will take place next Wednesday, May 24 at 1pm Pacific Time.

In a blog post, Sony promises “A wealth of new games and new IP are headed to PS5 and PS VR2.” The show will run a bit over an hour, focusing on PS5 and PS VR2 games in development from top studios from around the world. Expect a glimpse at several new creations from PlayStation Studios, as well as spellbinding games from our third-party partners and indie creators. The live broadcast starts next Wednesday, May 24 at 1pm Pacific Time / 9pm British Time on YouTube and Twitch. Hope to see you there!
I am expecting to see Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 showcased heavily as the next big game for the system. We could get something from Naughty Dog regarding The Last of Us, especially coming off the shows success on HBO. I wonder if Bungie would perhaps have a little something about their new IP they have been working on? What games would you like to see Sony unveil at the PlayStation Showcase?
