Google Stadia was a blink and you missed it streaming service. It had very few exclusives tied to it, however, one of those few is returning from the Stadia grave. Stadia exclusive game Gylt is returning from the other side and coming to Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
Gylt is by Tequila Works, it was originally released on November 19, 2019 and it is a narrative adventure game with puzzles, stealth and action set in an old mining town in Maine. The game’s main character is Sally, who you play as. Sally is trying to find her missing cousin Emily and is subsequently chased by a group of bullies, crashing her bike and is dragged into a twisted version of her town where her fears and worse memories are presented in a wicked and very real way for her.
Gylt allows you to avoid being detected by sneaking around from the creatures lurking in the alternate version of her town in Maine. You can build strategies using sound and visual lures to distract them or just attract them. You get to decide if you want to face the creatures or hide from them in the same way you can face or hide from your fears. As you dig deeper into the world, you will get to understand the world surrounding you and discover the myster behind Emily’s disappearance.
