Hello Guardians! It is Friday today and our favorite Agent of the Nine is back peddling his wares on us. We had a TWAB yesterday with clues about us heading to Titan next season, you can check it out here. Let’s see what our buddy has for us to prep for the new season less than 2 weeks away! This is Xur’s location for May 12 through 16 and what he is selling.
This week Xur can be found at the Winding Cove in the EDZ.
Xur Exotic Items
This week Xur has as usual an Exotic Engram which will cost 97 Legendary Shards, this will contain a new exotic if any have not been uncovered yet by you. The weapon this week is the Crimson Hand Cannon and will cost you 29 Legendary Shards. The perks are Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, Cruel Remedy and Heavy Grip.
For Hunters, he has The Bombardiers Leg Armor for 23 Legendary Shards. These have Parting Gift – Dodging leaves behind an explosive that detonates after a short delay, damaging targets around it and creating a secondary effect based on your subclass energy type: Arc blinds, Solar scorches, Void suppresses, Stasis slows and Strand Severs.
Titans get Ashen Wake Gauntlets for 23 Legendary Shards. They have Bring the Heat – Fusion Grenades now expolode on impact and gain increased throw speed. Final blows with Fusion Grenades grant grenade energy.
Warlocks get Wings of Sacred Dawn for 23 Legendary Shards. They have Tome of Dawn – When Dawnblade is equipped, aiming weapons while you’re midair suspends you there for a short time, improving airborne accuracy, reducing incoming flinch and granting damage resistance. Weapon hits extend this effect’s duration. Provides a large benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.
Xur also has the Hawkmoon and the Dead Man’s Tale. These will both cost you 200 Legendary Shards, 125,000 in Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Shard and 1 Exotic Cipher. The Hawkmoon has Paracausal Shot, Smallbore, Alloy Magazine, Opening Shot and Combat Grip. The Dead Man’s Tale has Cranial Spike, Chambered Compensator, Accurized Rounds, Subsistence and Short-Action Stock.
Xur also offers Xenology, which allows you to earn an Exotic Cipher by completing Vanguard playlist activities or win matches in Crucible or Gambit. Note you can only hold one of these at a time.
Legendary Armor
This week Xur is offering the Lightkin armor for Guardians. For Hunters, none of the armor breaches a 60 stat level. For Titans, you have a 65 Lightkin Helmet with 12 Mobility, 7 Resilience, 13 Recovery, 2 Discipline, 24 Intelligence and 7 Strength. Titans also have Lightkin Greaves with a 61 stat level with 2 Mobility, 16 Resilience, 13 Recovery, 9 Discipline, 19 Intelligence and 2 Strength. Warlocks also have 2 pieces above 60, Lightkin Robes with 10 Mobility, 20 Resilience, 2 Recovery, 2 Discipline, 9 Intelligence and 19 Strength. The other is the Lightkin Cover with 19 Mobility, 11 Resilience, 2 Recovery, 2 Discipline, 22 Intelligence and 6 Strength. Each of these armor pieces will cost you 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer.
Legendary Weapons
This week Xur has True Prophecy Hand Cannon with Aggressive Frame, HitMark HCS, Accurized Rounds, Opening Shot and Rampage. Gridskipper Pulse Rifle with Rapid-Fire Frame, Chambered Compensator, Ricochet Rounds, Killing Wind and High-Impact Reserves. Farewell Sidearm with Lightweight Frame, Extended Barrel, Alloy Magazine, Full Auto Trigger System, Adrenaline Junkie. Ikelos_SG_V1.0.3 Shotgun with Rapid-Fire Frame, Smoothbore, Tactical Magazine, Grave Robber, Trench Barrel and Rasputin’s Arsenal. Far Future Sniper Rifle with Adaptive Frame, Extended Barrel, Steady Rounds, Quickdraw and Frenzy. Hoosegow Rocket Launcher with Adaptive Frame, Countermass, Implosion Rounds, Snapshot Sights and Quickdraw. Finally, the Night Watch Scout Rifle with Lightweight Frame, Arrowhead Brake, Appended Mag, Subsistence and Moving Target. Each of these weapons will cost you 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer.
