Does AEW Have An Attendance Problem

A lot has been made of the discrepancy between what AEW/Tony Khan reported and what was actually in attendance at AEW All In.  I understand the difference between turnstile numbers and tickets sold, so I wont get all over AEW for that.  However, does AEW have an attendance problem in the United States?  This week is one of the premiere AEW Dynamite events that they hold every year.  AEW will be running Grand Slam from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Queens.

This year will be host to a two-hour Dynamite that will air live on Wednesday night as well as a two-hour Rampage taping.  In the past, the stadium has been packed to the rafters for the event.  According to WrestleTix on X (Twitter), the setup for Arthur Ashe Stadium is 11,638 tickets and currently there have been 7,493 tickets distributed with 4,145 still remaining.

From what I have seen online from people both on YouTube and X is that ticket prices for the event are much more than normal and that is keeping people away.  I myself have pulled up ticketmaster to check it out and the upper deck is looking like it is $31 a ticket.  Floor seats are running about $600 a ticket which is pretty steep.  This card currently has five matches setup for Grand Slam with four of them being title matches.

What do you think about the ticket sales for AEW?  Does AEW have an attendance problem?  Do you think they are pricing themselves out or that there is something else causing the slow down with their ticket sales?  Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or hit us up on our Twitter account.  As always stay tuned to Culture Splat for more content coming your way!
