Jade Cargill WWE Update

Last Thursday, we reported about Jade Cargill being done with her AEW contract and that she would be jumping over to WWE.  More news has been breaking today on the Jade Cargill WWE situation update.

Earlier today, Mike Johnson from PWInsider reported that Jade Cargill was in Orlando, Florida for the WWE at the performance center.  He noted that at the time she was not slated to be on tomorrow’s NXT show.  Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful followed this up that Jade is not booked for Monday Night Raw tonight or NXT tomorrow.  Mike Johnson then followed up on his initial reporting that he received word from a subscriber that Jade Cargill was on board the same flight leaving Orlando International Airport and heading to Atlanta this afternoon.

It is worth noting that Jade Cargill is no longer listed on the AEW Roster

AEW Women's Roster

Cargill began her AEW career in 2020.  She defeated Ruby Soho on January 5, 2022 to become the inaugural AEW TBS Champion.  She went on to have an noteworthy run as champion, reigning for 508 days finally losing the title on May 28, 2023 to the returning Kris Statlander.  Her departure from AEW comes just one week after she touted her relationship with Tony Khan and how she would not want to be anyplace else in wrestling.

I feel that Cargill making the jump to WWE is a smart career move for her.  She is an attraction and has the presence and feel about her to be a big time superstar.  I can see the folks down at the performance center really working with her and polishing her to make her a household name in WWE.  What do you think about the Jade Cargill WWE update?  Do you see her being a player in WWE or do you wish she stayed in AEW?  When do you see her debuting and is it the main roster or NXT?  Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or hit us up on our Twitter account.  As always stay tuned to Culture Splat for more content coming your way!
