Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood Lineup Set

Universal Studios has been putting on some variant of Halloween Horror Nights at its theme parks since 1991.  I have been going pretty much every year for the last 10 years minus the pandemic time.  Last year, we did it with the pass which allowed you to get to the front of each haunted house one time.  This was pretty awesome as there are times you are waiting on LONG lines.  Well, it is time to pull out the calendar and start planning your trip to Universal Hollywood as they have announced the full line up for Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood.  This year, there will be 8 haunted houses and as always the Terror Tram.

This years Terror Tram is The Exterminatorz:

Terror Tram is back and this time the bugs are taking over. Tour Guide Larry Larva and his bug-headed exterminators are out to get rid of humans with the help of his killer new pesticide. You’ll be swarmed by many-legged horrors who will worm their way into your fears. You’ll end with a walk-through of Jupiter’s Claim from Jordan Peele’s film NOPE.

The eight Haunted Houses this year are:

Stranger Things 4 – Try to Escape the Curse of Vecna

You must band together with your squad if you want to resist Vecna’s gruesome curse. Take on the scariest season of Stranger Things yet. Like Eleven, now’s your chance to stop him once and for all as you have the ultimate showdown in Vecna’s blood-red Mind Lair. Every ending has a beginning.

The Exorcist: Believer – An Evil Reawakened

Angela. Katherine. Two missing girls have been found with no memory of what happened to them. But wherever they went, the ultimate evil has returned with them. Witness a chilling chain of events as you enter the most terrifying scenes from the new Blumhouse film.

The Last of Us – Step Into the World of The Last of Us

You and your squad will encounter the haunting and overgrown world of Naughty Dog’s video game in a brand-new, terrifying way, as you make your way through an abandoned Pittsburgh. Join Joel and Ellie, and don’t make a sound if you want to survive Clickers, Hunters and more. No matter what, keep finding something to fight for.

Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count – Chucky’s Back for Even More Carnage

Chucky, the serial killer doll, is back for a new gorefest! He’s hijacked his own haunted house with all kinds of bloody hijinks. You and your friends must try to survive his ultimate kill count.

Universal Monsters: Unmasked – Four Universal Monsters.  One New Nightmare

Descend into the catacombs, where you and your squad will face a new horde of Monsters: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the Phantom of the Opera, the Hunchback of Notre Dame and the Invisible Man

Evil Dead Rise – The Evil Dead Have Risen. Again.

An ancient curse rises in a new setting: an L.A. apartment building. The Book of the Dead is about to unleash unimaginable horrors on you and your scream squad. Evil has come home.

Monstruous: The Monsters of Latin America – Three Times the Legends.  Three Times the Terror

¡Ten cuidado! With La Muerte as your guide, you and your scream squad must try to survive three terrifying legends: the blood-sucking Tlahuelpuchi, owl-faced witch La Lechuza and bone-ripping El Silbón.

Holidayz In Hell – It’s a Fear-Long Celebration

From New Year’s Eve to Thanksgiving, your favorite holidays to celebrate with your friends are going to hell. ‘Tis the season to scream in this holiday nightmare. The scarier, the merrier.

In addition to the Haunted Houses and Terror Tram, there are also scare zones setup around the park.  You do also have the ability to go on rides as well.  The Mummy is always a good ride at night.  Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood runs select nights from September 7 – October 31.  There are General Admission tickets, 2pm Day/Night tickets, Halloween Horror Nights Universal Express, Universal Express Unlimited and the After 2pm Day/Night Universal Express.  If you wanted to go the VIP route, there are the R.I.P. tour which has a guided tour of Halloween Horror Nights.
