Sega Genesis Mini – On Sale Now

The Sega Genesis Mini has been called the best retro mini console on the market.  It follows the Nintendo NES Classic and Nintendo Super NES Classic systems and the subpar Sony Playstation Classic.  Sega Genesis was a great system back in the day and really changed the game and really started the console wars.  Back in the day it was Nintendo vs. Sega as opposed to Sony vs. Xbox now.  It came out in 1989 in America, just three years after its predecessor the Sega Master System.  It wasn’t the first 16 bit console but sure did 16 bit right!  I remember the first time I played Sonic the Hedgehog and was blown away by the graphics opposed to Super Mario Brothers.

The Sega Genesis Mini comes with 42 games on board already for your playing enjoyment.  With some sleuthing around the internet, I am sure you would be able to find ways to make this console more than what comes in the box.  The Console is currently on sale on amazon for $39.99.  The “normal” retail price for this system is $79.99.  If you would like to pick up a system for yourself, you can pick it up on Amazon by clicking here.
