The NWA announces all women’s PPV

During today’s season premier of NWA Powerrr on FITE.tv, NWA President Billy Corgan announced two upcoming Pay Per View events.  The big news is that on August 28th the NWA will present an All Women’s PPV with former WWE superstar Mickie James as the executive producer.

The event will take place in St. Louis the day before the NWA will hold their NWA 73 Anniversary PPV.  Mickie James was on hand for the announcement as well and noted that she would be recruiting women’s talent from all across the world to be a part of the event.  James also noted this is something she wanted to do for quite a while and has been cut off at every opportunity to make it happen but she now has a real chance to make real history.  This begs the question about the “forbidden door”, we know that TNA has a working relationship with AEW, but will we be seeing women from Impact and WWE as well as Japan?

Currently the NWA women’s division champion is Kamille Brickhouse and their roster also features Thunder Rosa, recent signee Kylie Rae, Melina, Taryn Terrell and of course who can overlook Thunder Rosa…

Mickie James also tweeted out, Next Chapter.  It’s my table. No….  It’s our table ladies.  Pull up a seat!
