Where is Xur – Location Guide and Items August 25

Hello Guardians!  It is Friday today and our favorite Agent of the Nine is back peddling his wares on us.  This is the first appearance of Xur in the new season.  Let’s see what our buddy has for us this week!  This is your location guide for where is Xur as well as everything he is selling for August 25.

This week Xur is in The Tower, in the Hangar section.

Xur’s Exotic Items

This week Xur has as usual an Exotic Engram which will cost 97 Legendary Shards, this will contain a new exotic if any have not been uncovered yet by you.  The weapon this week is the Crimson  Hand Cannon and will cost you 29 Legendary Shards.  The perks are Banned Weapon, Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, Cruel Remedy and Heavy Grip.

For Hunters, he has Graviton Forefeit helmet with a total stat of 67 and Vanishing Shadow – Increases the duration of any invisibility effect.  While you are invisible, your melee recharges faster, your weapons reload faster and your recovery is greatly increased.

For Titans, he has Synthoceps Gauntlets with a total stat of 67 and Biotic Enhancements – Increased melee lunge range.  Improved melee and Super damage when you’re surrounded.

For Warlocks, he has Starfire Protocol Chest Armor with a total stat of 66 and Fusion Harness – Fusion Grenades have an additional charge and recharge from empowered weapon damage, with empowered weapon final blows granting more energy.  Defeating targets with Fusion Grenades grant Rift energy.

Xur also has the Hawkmoon.  This will cost you 200 Legendary Shards, 125,000 in Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Shard and 1 Exotic Cipher.  The Hawkmoon has Paracausal Shot, Smallbore, Alloy Magazine, Killing Wind and Smooth Grip.

Xur also offers Xenology, which allows you to earn an Exotic Cipher by completing Vanguard playlist activities or win matches in Crucible or Gambit.  Note you can only hold one of these at a time.

Legendary Armor

This week Xur is offering the Holdfast armor for Guardians for August 25.  These will run you 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer each.
