CM Punk at Survivor Series?

We all know by now that CM Punk and his run with AEW are done.  Depending on who you talk to it is good he is gone or why is he gone and not XYZ.  Last night, CM Punk made his triumphant return cageside with Cage Fury Fighting Championships.  He does this fairly regularly and the references to CM Punk and professional wrestling seem to be a regular thing in the “booth.”  This episode was note worthy because not only did they make reference to him having time to be there as well as the length of his no compete and the timing when it is up lines up perfectly with CM Punk showing up at Survivor Series.

CM Punk, as he is known to do has not gotten his side of the story off his chest as of yet.  Last night though he seemed to be in good spirits back in the booth with his co-host John Morgan.  Morgan immediately started with the “look who I ran into back stage and he’s back, might I add with cause… CM Punk.”  This is a dig at the way Tony Khan said that CM Punk was terminated from his contracts with cause.

There were a couple of other moments that kind of can be seen as digs at AEW.  In one, CM Punk says he just lost a fight with a headset which could be a dig at TK being in Gorilla.

The owner Rob Haydek is talking with Punk and John about expanding to Muay Thai and Punk asks about Cage Fury Pro Wrestling when Rob says he didn’t know Punk would be available.

Finally and the big one comes when they are talking about a post fight show and ask Punk if he has some time on his hands.  Punk says he has some time, for the next two months.  The clip cuts off right when he is about to say two months.

The timing lines up perfectly with WWE Survivor Series?  The show is on November 25th from Punks home town of Rosemont Illinois at the Allstate Arena.  It is worth noting that CFFC is not owned by UFC but UFC airs Cage Fight Fury Championships and UFC is now the sister company to WWE.  What do you think about CM Punk potentially returning to WWE at Survivor Series?  Do you think him going back and mending bridges was like the episode of Seinfeld when George tries to get himself fired from the Yankees to take the Mets General Manager position?  Do you think WWE would welcome him back?  Do you think he has more to give to the wrestling business as JR has mentioned?  If you are going to Survivor Series do you want him to show up?
