What’s up Guardians? Here we are on Tuesday for another Destiny 2 weekly reset on May 16, 2023 during Season of Defiance. With that reset as always comes new missions, challenges, dungeons for the week and more. Let’s dive right into it.
The Weekly Nightfall this week is Lake of Shadows. The Hero modifiers are:
- You will face combatants with Solar, Arc and Void shields
- Barrier and Unstoppable Champions
- Extra Shields
- Maximum Level of 1765
- Arc Threat – 25% increase to incoming Arc damage
- Pestilence – When defeated, Psions spawn Void grenades at their feet
- Overcharged Weapons – Kinetic weapons do increased damage when your subclass matches an active surge
- Void Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Void damage
- Strand Surge – 25% damage increase to outgoing Strand damage
- Overcharged Machine Gun – 25% increase to Machine Gun damage
- Galvanized – Combatants have more health and are more difficult to stun
The Legend modifiers are:
- Locked Loadout
- Extra Shields
- Maximum effective level of 1815
- Equipment locked
The Master modifiers are all of the above plus:
- You will face Solar, Arc and Void shielded combatants
- Extra champions
- Maximum effective level of 1820
- Togetherness – Base health regen is reduced, if another player is near health regen is increased
The Grandmaster modifiers are all of the above plus:
- Extinguish – If your fireteam falls in a restricted zone, everyone is returned to orbit
- Limited Revives
- Contest
- Join in progress disabled
- Maximum effective level of 1815
- Scorched Earth – Enemies throw grenades significantly more often
- Chaff – radar is disabled
The Pinnacle Reward is obtained once you reach 200,000 as a score (cumulative over your runs of the Nightfall). The weapon this week is The Swarm and The Swarm (Adept)
Crucible and Gambit will provide Pinnacle Rewards for completing 3 matches of each. The Crucible playlist is Clash + Supremacy
Strikes are reset as well, completing five matches will get you your Pinnacle Reward.
The featured Dungeons this week is Grasp of Avarice as well as the Spire of the Watcher both will have Pinnacle Rewards
The featured Raid this week is King’s Fall
Other Pinnacle Drops:
- Three Defiant Battlegrounds completed
- Dares of Eternity completed with a score of 250,000.
- //node.ovrd.AVALAON// activity will grant a Pinnacle as well
- Weekly campaign mission with a score of 100,000
